Route 66 Drive-In Theatre > 1700 Recreation Drive, Springfield, IL 62707
This is one of the best things in the itinerary. I love the fact that there is still a few of these in operation! I feel there isn’t enough though. And gone are the days watching your movie with a speaker hanging on your car, you just simply tune in your radio to the screen you want and hey presto your ready to go. I watched Toy Story 3 until I was distracted by a storm rolling in from behind the screen! I spent the rest of my night taking pictures!
